# Sandbox Configuration

> Turn the EMR sandbox on or off for your clinic

## GET /abandonment-recovery/techdome-emr/config

Returns whether the sandbox is enabled for your clinic.

### Response

200 OK:

{ "enabled": true }
```

Returns `{ "enabled": false }` rather than an error if no clinic is linked to your account yet.

## PUT /abandonment-recovery/techdome-emr/config

Enables or disables the sandbox for your clinic.

### Request body

```json theme={null}
{ "enabled": true }
```

`enabled` (boolean, required).

### Response

200 OK:

```json theme={null}
{ "saved": true, "enabled": true }
```

400 Bad Request if `enabled` isn't a real boolean, or if no clinic is linked to your account.

<Warning>
  Turning this on for the first time (`false` to `true`) eagerly seeds your clinic's own copy of the sandbox's fixture patients, the same way Epic's own public sandbox hands every new developer the same canonical test patients. Enable this before trying [Patient Matching](/api-reference/resources/patient).
